LIVING WITH MACHINES
AI is all around us; it’s in our phones, our social networks, job, and credit applications, and more. AI is rapidly being utilised to make complicated decisions and analyse information in novel ways that are believed to be unique to humans. But what about situations where empathy and emotional intelligence are required?
In collaboration with the British Library, the Alan Turing Institute, and several partner universities, the Living with Machines project was launched at Leeds City Museum. This initiative featured a free public exhibition that remained open through the end of July 2022.
AI Tech UK hosted an engaging workshop and dynamic panel discussions featuring experienced speakers as part of Leeds Digital Festival 2022, in collaboration with the British Library. These sessions offered thought-provoking examples and questions, encouraging attendees to explore the far-reaching impact of AI across a variety of topics.
