Why the world needs the "Right to Human Intelligence" today!

AI alone is expected to have an economic impact of $15.7 trillion by 2030. And by 2035, the range of jobs with high automation potential will be closer to 35-50% for those sectors (PWC) Also, the robot sales are high as there is a trend of falling prices of industrial robots and this is expected to continue, with the cost of robots falling by 65% between 2015 and 2025.

All of this means that mundane factory tasks or simple clickable repeatable jobs of today could be automated tomorrow. Various reports estimate that globally, up to 800 million workers could be displaced and as many as 375 million may need to learn new skills for new occupational categories. The big question is, "Will people who lost jobs be able to get new ones? ”

While the world is still agreeing on what Artificial Intelligence (AI) Regulations should look like, we are solving the ethical problem of AI technology by creating a "Social Innovation" - by creating an awareness of human intelligence by defining a new human right to protect OUR intelligence, just like we protect our data, dignity and identify! Source: "Public Intelligence".

So, what exactly is Public Intelligence?

Public intelligence is the way humans have evolved to survive in the world we have created for ourselves. It is the combined and shared knowledge of millennia of human society. Public intelligence is finding directions when we are lost. It shows us how and what to cook. It has taught us to garden and farm. It has taught us to teach and to learn. Most importantly, it has allowed us to become valuable, by specialising in certain tasks to earn a living.

On the other hand, being aware of our Public Intelligence helps us prioritise people and the planet’s needs, by embedding it at the heart of social change and the new technologies that we build around us.

Right to Intelligence is the right to protect human intellectual capabilities from being displaced by intelligent innovative systems.

When replacing human intelligence with a machine, we create social, economic, and political risks and imbalances that will inevitably lead to inequitable global chaos and discrimination. The fear of losing jobs to technology, a declining climate, and uncertainty across the world are at an all-time high.

Intelligent innovations are great, and we have rapidly innovated over the past few decades making complex tasks such as accounting or designing easy by a click of a button or simply going with the suggested recommendations. This is known as Hyper-Augmentation and we see this everywhere in websites, apps, and software.

But all this convenience and seemingly cool new technology comes at a price. We are sleepwalking into new problems, everything can be done at the click of a button.

This means tomorrow we may not need "the click" - Full Automation. What will happen to the skills and intelligence that you have worked so hard to develop?

“The problem isn’t necessarily the digital world it’s that we are creating a digital monopoly, without realising it. ”

Today we are not aware of the intellectual colonisation taking place. Innovations are critical for our civilisation, but we need to consider the side effects.

Digitalisation has helped us embed our logic into the software. New digital content can be copied and pasted. This means that if manual work, the intellectual capability and logic needed to complete said work is digitalised, it can be copied, pasted and commercialised.

Why do we need awareness of our Right to Intelligence?

We need this awareness now more than ever because our Intelligence is the ultimate human capability that we need for our survival! And it's critical to bring awareness before it's too late!

1. People should have the power to protect acquired skills, knowledge, ecosystems and intelligence!

2. There is a need for a simple moral code for all innovation, taking into account the impact at a global level.

3. We believe ethics should be universal, understandable and free to all! However, most importantly, it needs to become part of our innovation culture.

There is a significant gap in peoples’ understanding of Artificial Intelligence and how it impacts real human intelligence, namely our right to protect OUR intelligence

An ongoing disregard for intelligence transfer to machines is often overlooked, and if continued to be ignored, this intelligence revolution will have a catastrophic impact on the globe, our society and our planet.

We need a social innovation

To empower everyone to create a sustainable future with accountable innovations. This is a much-needed wake-up call to bring awareness that "A secret" or a new concept we did not realise existed, that we all have "the right to protect our intelligence" – our Jobs, people's awareness and our Public Intelligence!
